Congratulations! You are now an Entered Apprentice Freemason, having taken the first step in Freemasonry.

The ceremony of your initiation is an experience you will never forget. You are now able to visit and sit in on any first degree, held in any lodge in any jurisdiction with which our Grand Lodge is in amity. You are encouraged to visit other lodges and experience the joy of renewing your feelings at the initiation of a new brother.

As an Entered Apprentice you are a learner, a beginner, in Speculative Masonry. You are expected to show a certain humility. You should give appropriate attention to your sponsors, guides, officers and mentors, and be willing to have them lead you.

You must strive to improve yourself in Freemasonry by an active participation in the affairs of your lodge and the Craft. This course has been designed to help familiarize you with the craft, provide deeper insight of masonic history, symbolism, and philosophy, give you a better understanding of this degree, and to help improve your knowledge and confidence within the lodge.
