Due to flooding in the District, the Grand Master, Most Worshipful Brother G.L. Cassidy expressed concern for any Brethren who might have suffered loss with a view to rendering assistance to those in need.
Brother S.F. Partlo was instructed in the work of the Fellow Craft Degree.
Worshipful Brother J.A. Laird, Past Master of Union Lodge passed away and he had been a regular attendee at the Annual Installation of Joppa Lodge Officers. Brother F. Hugh presented the Lodge with a desk lamp for the Secretary's desk.

Right Worshipful Brother O.R. Merklin, District Deputy Grand Master with other members of Grand Lodge in attendance at this meeting. Also, in attendance were the Worshipful Master of Kulshan Lodge of Blaine, WA, Worshipful Master of De Wolf Lodge of Port Coquitlam, Worshipful Master of Eureka Lodge of Langley Prairie, Worshipful Master of King Solomon Lodge of New Westminster.
Whatcom Lodge # 151 of Bellingham, WA invited Joppa Lodge to visit them on Saturday evening March 23 when Most Worshipful Brother Loomis Baldry, Grand Master of the State of Washington would be in attendance. Joppa voted to accept this invitation.
Brother D.F. Partlo was raised to the sublime Degree of Master Mason.

Library Board suggested a change in allotted time in which a Lodge could retain the books from one month to two months, with a donation of $5.00 when this extended was used.
A committee was appointed to review - - advisability of painting the building - installation of a sanitary system - reduce the mortgage with a further payment on account - The Tenth Anniversary celebration was scheduled for April 30, 1935.

At the request of King Solomon Lodge No. 17, Joppa Lodge conferred the Fellow Craft Degree on Brother E.M. Phillips of King Solomon Lodge. Past Masters occupied the chairs, with Very Worshipful Brother Junior Deacon MacMillan as Worshipful Master.

An Emergent Communication to attend the funeral of Brother J.C. Cornish, Director of Ceremonies. Funeral Services at Center and Hanna, West Georgia, Vancouver. Right Worshipful Brother J.J. Mahoney took charge with interment in Mountain View Cemetery.

Brother A.J. Smith presented with a Tea Set as a wedding present from the members of Joppa Lodge.

Right Worshipful Brother Merklin reported that as a committee of one he had made enquiries to find out that Mrs. MacKenzie's home had been sold for arrears of taxes, the amount being $67.05 The Lodge decided to purchase the tax sale certificate, a cheque being raised to cover.
The property being held by Joppa Lodge until such time as Mrs. MacKenzie would be ready to repossess it, to which she was agreeable. Roof repairs to shingles and gutters were completed by Brethren.
Notice of motion by Brother J.W. Champion that the bylaws be amended to read "Fifty dollars payable as follows - on application $25.00 for first degree $25.00
