Construction begins on Vancouver's largest skyscraper ... the Marine Building in downtown Vancouver. 

April 11, 1929

Worshipful Master and Officers of Joppa Lodge on the evening of April 23 would confer the Fellow Craft Degree in King Solomon Lodge, No. 17 in New Westminster. Motion to thank Brother R.T. Hall, of King Solomon Lodge for his presentation of the three Gavel Blocks to Joppa Lodge.

May 9, 1929

Right Worshipful Brother J.J. Mahoney, District Deputy Grand Master of District No. 2 visited Joppa Lodge. Brother F.W. Clarke of King Solomon Lodge No. 17, New Westminster was raised to the sublime Degree of Master Mason.

May 12, 1929

Divine service in regalia at the United Church of Canada where Brother Reverend Crux delivered the sermon.

September 12, 1929

Cascade Lodge No. 12 communication advising of an International Emergent Meeting on Monday September 30 with Grand Masters and Grand Lodge Officers from the Jurisdictions of Washington, Oregon, Alberta and Saskatchewan in attendance.

At the end of the ceremony the Brethren congregated at the Central Hotel for a luncheon and toasts.

Brother Bevam L.W. Hugh was duly prepared and instructed in the Entered Apprentice Degree.
